The French Gourmet, a quaint Pacific Beach Restaurant is looking for energetic, eager-to-please, experienced team players to fill the following positions: AM server - PM server and a PM busser/foodrunner.
Below is a short description, not limitative, of some of our expectations, of which you will get a better description during your interview.
Works closely with chef and team members to ensure that all food for event is prepared, ready for service in a timely manner.
Assist with setting up of the restaurant floor plan depending on reservations and parties.
Follows safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards and polices.
At the end of service assists with clean up.
In order to succeed as a French Gourmet team member, you must have a cheerful, positive attitude. This is especially important in this business since any negativity dampens the festive spirit of a party and can affect the attitude of fellow workers.
The position requires an outgoing personality and a keen sense of service and professionalism. Dressing appropriately, taking initiative, keeping busy, and showing enthusiasm will enhance the impression you make.
Must be meticulously groomed, hair and complexion must be clean and neat. Make-up and accessories kept to a minimum. MOST IMPORTANT part of my uniform is my smile and a “can do” attitude.
- This position requires server uniform, black slacks and shoes, white shirt and tie.
- Basic Culinary certification.
- Must have food handlers certification.
